Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 9, 2026

Flaks does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Your calendar data never leaves your browser.

1. Overview

Flaks ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome extension that generates AI-powered briefings for your upcoming meetings. This Privacy Policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and what we do not do with it.

2. Data we access

To function, Flaks accesses the following information:

3. Data we do not collect

Flaks does not:

4. How briefings are generated

When you request a briefing, the company name extracted from your meeting attendee's email domain is sent to our secure server proxy (hosted on Cloudflare Workers). This proxy forwards the company name to the Anthropic Claude API to generate a structured briefing. No personally identifiable information is included in this request.

The generated briefing is returned directly to your browser and is never stored on our servers.

5. Audio generation

If you use the audio feature, the generated briefing text is sent to the ElevenLabs API to produce an audio file. This text contains only AI-generated content about the prospect company — not your personal data. The audio is streamed directly to your browser and not stored.

6. Third-party services

Flaks uses the following third-party APIs to function:

7. Data security

All API requests made by the extension are routed through a Cloudflare Worker proxy using HTTPS. API keys are stored server-side and are never exposed to the browser. We do not log request content.

8. Children's privacy

Flaks is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
